The author, after two divorces, a few short relationships and an intimate relationship which lasted longer than both marriages, has now found his mate. This book and its characters are fictional, but the author shares his lifelong experience with his readers. Medical doctors or sex therapists tend to write books that deal with sex and sexuality. This book"s content is something else. It is experience, pure and simple. However, a long career in teaching mature people, coupled with presenting several sex seminars, helped the author a great deal in putting this book together. It takes a long time to learn what women are looking for in a relationship with a husband or a male friend. The requirements, the needs and the hopes are all included in the pages of this book. Needless to say, if the author had read such a book himself in years gone by perhaps he wouldn"t have needed the extensive practical experience. He allows readers of any age to learn from an accumulation of rich experience. Hopefully the reader will avoid some mistakes that are inherent as we grow older.
