Featuring the likes of DEEPCHILD, SOUP, INGA LILJESTROM, DSICO, 4:20, REPHRASE, RAVEN, ALPEN, COMATONE, BOB SCOTT (WICKED BEAT SOUND SYSTEM), XAVIER FIJAC (DECODER RING), JACOB COOK (VASSY AND THE PEDESTRIANS), and DANNYKRASS, this album is a fantastic showcase of Sydney electronic music. Gauche delight in contorting traditional song structure and drawing on innumerable musical reference points, though always with an underlying electronic, or electro-acoustic sound. The musicians" roles are not always typical; rather their interaction could be described as a fragile sculpture of fragments that interlock like jigsaw pieces. For "Repainted", Gauche and their friends have jumbled the jigsaw once again with new interpretations in a variety of styles.
