The aim of the directory is to provide a listing of the major sources of economic and business statistical information for 32 countries in Europe. Publications listed cover a wide range of topics, including economic conditions, socio-economic data, public finance, industry, business and commerce. They are published by a variety of bodies such as international organizations, national statistical offices, government departments, specialist publishers, banks and financial institutions, professional and trade associations. For each publication information is given about title, date of frequency, language, cost, coverage and summary of contents. There are comprehensive indexes by title, subject and country, and information on all issuing organizations.
