A new edition of a title on Cumbria in the BRITISH RAILWAYS PAST AND PRESENT series. Photographs of railway locations taken in the early part of the twentieth century are compared with contemporary photographs, including the West Coast main line, and the Carlisle, Barrow and Furness railways.
