The shy & retiring Rothko have been quiet of late, with main honcho Mr Beazley some experimental recordings under his own name. Here"s a new CD called "A Life Lived Elsewhere" which compiles some of the best tracks from their back catalogue. The triple bass wonders made some delightful tunes and here"s a great place to start if you"re unaware of them and they"re all wrapped up in a neat black box with badges etc... Apparently there"s only a couple of hundred of these and we"ve only got a handful. On here are tracks from the split single with Tarentel that I released many years ago as well as tracks from previous releases on leaf, Livid Meerkat, Lo, KRAAK, Disasters By Choice, Zeal Bucolique and loads more. It"s great to hear them again as no one ever did and no one ever probably will sound like this.
