After yet another an extended lay-off, this time of five years, Micky Jones and Deke Leonard--who"ve been working together, off and on, since the mid-1960s--have returned with a quaint and dusty collection of predictably eco-conscious, 50-something navel contemplation. Endangered Species will delight long-standing Man aficionados with its gentle baroque arrangements, subtle power, and whimsical Celtic mysticism. Moments of Floydian fretboard heroism abound and extensive instrumental passages occasionally outstay their welcome, but this is, after all, prog rock, the genre that brevity forgot. --Ian Fortnam
