When young Michael finds himself committed to a children"s psychiatric unit his first instinct is to keep playing the game. But when his life begins to mirror and mingle with some of the other children on the unit he understands what he must do. Laughter, tears, and horror await the clinicians as the children divulge their stories of pain and suffering. There is a reward waiting for those that commit to treatment and show promise to recovery. Who will go and who will stay depends on breaking through the façade, the lies, and betrayal.
