President Obama has gained a reputation, fostered by smears, as treating the United States like a kingdom run by a political dictator who appoints czars or regents to oversee his totalitarian regime. The opponents and supporters are looking through the self-identification prism respecting Obama and political figures throughout the nation"s history. Those with the highest means and taxes are demanding the greatest relief through conservative politician and austerity programs. To compete, mainstream media has been forced to find ways to tighten budget and extract saving to pay for costly technology. In this media environment, sensationalism sells best, draws the largest audience and advertisement revenues. When media"s social responsibility is displaced or compromised the public loses the information that corporations suppress and government tries to control which is needed to make difficult electoral decisions that solve problems, demand policies and solutions essential to the preservation of democracy Progressives and the left are sincerely disappointed in Barack Hussein Obama. He is not one of them but a pragmatic centrist that has retained the services of numerous Republican bureaucrats and adopted Romney care as his trademark accomplishment.
