This is a nice retelling of the classic children"s favorite fairy tale with text for early readers. The CD that accompanies the book makes it easy for pre-schoolers who don"t read to follow along with the graphics. There are sound-effects that signal the end of each page to prompt and encourage young readers. No credit is given to the "reteller" of the story nor the artist of some beautiful and delightful color illustrations. Shame on Igloo!
