TrueScale Miniatures has released a 1:43 diecast model of the #1 Chaparral 2F which Mike Spence and Phil Hill drove to victory in the 1967 Brands Hatch 6 Hours. The Chaparral 2F was one of Jim Hall"s fi nest designs. It incorporated several innovations seen on previous Chaparrals, such as a composite chassis and a moveable rear wing. Its Achilles heel was the transmission, which failed in several races. Phil Hill and Mike Spence gave the car its one and only victory in the 1967 BOAC 500 at Brands Hatch.
