This manual provides teachers with opportunities to unpack the theoretical assumptions which underpin both the psychometric and the broad outcomes-based models of assessment. It also encourages teachers to reflect on their own assessment practices, and to make the shift, in theory and practice, from the psychometric model to a holistic outcomes-based approach to assessment.
