This is a Shinwa Japanese 6" sliding bevel gauges. The blade is 6 1/4" long x 9/16" wide and the base is 7" long and 9/16" wide. Both blade and base are made from hardened stainless steel and are milled and not stamped. It has a knurled brass tightening knob. This tool is excellent for determining and transferring angles from one piece to another.
