The original Historical Scotland Map has now been renamed as the "Heritage Map of Scotland", identifying the subject of the map more specifically. The map has been reprinted with a completely new, brightly coloured Bartholomew branded cover and an improved folding pattern, making it easy to use. As part of the Bartholomew series of pictorial map, the "Heritage Map of Scotland" is both informative and attractive and makes an excellent wall decoration. Places, events and characters that have formed Scotland"s heritage are graphically illustrated and locations of castles, battlefields, cathedrals and other features of historical interest are identified on the map. There are also accounts of the lives of such important figures of the past as Robert Burns, Mary Queen of Scots and John Knox.
