The " Password" series is an eight-level course for Ugandan primary schools. It introduces the structures and functions of English through a variety of activities. The early levels focus on building vocabulary, listening and speaking, as well as introducing reading and writing. At the upper levels, these skills are developed and practised through more demanding work in cross-curricular contexts. At each level of " Password" , there is a pupil`s book and a teacher`s book with clear and detailed lesson plans and ideas for further activities. At levels 1 and 2, there are also optional workbooks with extra activities to give further practice in reading and writing. A set of 16 wallcharts is also available to support and extend the language work in this course.
