This book explores the role of exchanges between Europe and China in the development of pre-modern silk technology, particularly focusing on silk production in the Italian kingdom of Piedmont. This volume is part of a series by the Italian School of East Asian Studies (ISEAS) research institute, which focuses on the history, culture, literature, and religion of East Asia.
