This is the debut album of Janet Lynn, a talented blues singer from Algiers, the section of New Orleans across the river from the French Quarter that also brought the world Henry "Red" Allen, Kid Thomas Valentine & Memphis Minnie. Singing since she was very young, Janet has shared the stage with Fats Domino, Dr. John, Irma Thomas & others. Janet has many musical interests, but she"s best known for her gritty blues songs, and she"s joined here by some of New Orleans" best blues players.
