This Chapel Hill power-pop band follows its 2007 self-titled debut, as well as two 2008 EPs, with Horror Vacui. While their debut fired off an arsenal of songs brimming with catchy melodies, tight playing, and powerful hooks, Horror Vacui finds the band more focused and internal, providing a male and female perspective on a relationship that saw ups and downs, personal failures, and an eventual ending.
