This book details one of several interdisciplinary units developed for a summer school for high-school students in the United States. Designed for use in four to six week periods, the unit integrates social science, language, arts, science and humanities. Teacher instructions, lists of major literary works and visual media to be used and evaluation procedures are also provided.
