AWAKE plays power-trash that"s influenced by FEAR FACTORY, MACHINE HEAD, SEPULTURA or GRIP INC. After touring with CRUSH and LOUDBLAST and taking part of the selections of the festival Les Eurockéennes De Belfort in 1997, this French band from the East of France felt totally ready to record its first studio album. "Blind" was thus released on the Thundering label the same year. The least that can be said is that the guitarist-vocalist Pierre MICHALSKI and his three acolytes (Guitar, bass and drums) have done a really good job indeed ! These ten compositions show reliable musicians and a quite complex writing. Don"t miss them whatsoever !
