This is a Roden Models 1/72 scale assembly and painting required plastic model kit of the Sopwith T.F.1 Camel, an experimental variant of the venerable Sopwith Camel bi-plane fighter aircraft. *Historical Synopsis: The Sopwith T.F.1 was fitted with downward angled machine guns, which in theory was to fire into enemy trenches and in providing fire-support for advancing troops. In reality however, it was nearly impossible for the pilot to get a good aim with the guns pointed downward, and the idea was soon abandoned by the British. This Roden 1/72 scale assembly kit comes with nicely detailed plastic parts and one sheet of decals. A must have for World War I aviation enthusiasts!
