This monograph deals with the authorship and dating the tragedy Prometheus Bound, an Ancient Greek tragedy. In antiquity, this drama was attributed to Aeschylus, but is now considered by some scholars to be the work of another hand. The author of this book studies the dramatic structure of the tragedy and concludes the Aeschylean authorship is correct, and that the tragedy was written between 476 and 470 BC.
