A series of case studies of half a dozen prison couples, divided into sections which cover the meetings, the courtships, prison life, marriage, intimacy and "the future". Based on an SBS documentary, it allows the couples involved to speak in the first person, giving a "raw" account that the reader can interpret for him/herself.
