Review Dark Brutality - 100% Written by kd on March 15th, 2004 Goddamn, more Colombian sickness? No more gay black/death fusion stuff(KRAPSIUN) bands from South America. Real, brutal death metal with a devestatingly heavy edge. The riffs are just random-sounding at times, but who gives (a) ****. The drummer just blasts for days, yet his blasts never sound dry or boring, some how he adds intensity. The double-bass sounds blitzkrieg-like at times, not showing any mercy to the listener. The vocals are barely audible at times, but there presence it definitely felt. These guys slam hard and when you least expect them to, knocking you right on your *** and leaving with a headache, bloody nose, and a bad case of amnesia. The slams have that signature Colombian-style muddiness to them (SEE Goretrade for another example of this). A very good debut, check out the split with Goretrade, another sick Colombian band.
