Monica"s love of cooking started at a young age and came from her great-grandmother, grandmother and most of all, her mom. Her earliest memory of cooking a complete meal was at age 10. As she grew older, her passion for cooking, entertaining and food in general also grew. Monica developed an interest in other cuisines, like Italian, Mexican, Moroccan and Czech. This eventually landed her at the NY Restaurant School where she studied classic French techniques. She believes her best dishes come from improvisation. She claims that s a chef, you can"t be afraid to experiment with flavors and textures. Her first love will always be home cooking-just like mom. Monica is now a true foodie and collects menu"s from every restaurant she visits.
