I, Monty (Deluxe Edition)
When I first selected this book from the bookshelf I thought it was a misplaced child"s book. As I began to peruse it I became captivated by the story and wonderful pictures. It is a book on "life cycles" suited to any age. A classroom of children follow the process of metamorphosis by watching a caterpillar in a jar. The excusite butterfly who appears is really you and me. The rightness of freedom vs. the selfish desire of ownership. I have purchased this book 3 times and tried to keep it for myself, yet it always ends up being a "gift" to another in need. Ironically, I have never given it to a child! This book communicates far more than the words of the story actually say. This book is a treasure.
