The newest-and hottest-children’s educational property is launching on PBS in Fall 2006. It’s coming to videos, television, toys, clothing, bedding, and-with help from Running Press Kids-to books! We introduced our series of Word World books in Spring 2005, and more new titles will follow soon. The concept behind Word World, vetted by well-known psychologist Dr. Laura Brown, is innovative and educationally sound. The program is expected to become part of school curricula across the country. It’s all about word building, a key skill for children aged 3 to 6 that comes alive in the books, which are interactive, educational, and lots of fun.
