This volume is a broad survey of European history between 1780-1830 which discusses (on a regional or continent-wide basis) social, economic, administrative and intellectual themes as they relate to political events. It encompasses the French Revolution, the rise and fall of Napoleon Bonaparte and the Congress of Vienna in 1815. The book is intended for students in upper school and institutions of higher education on modern European history courses.
