This updated atlas of the world contains 96 pages of both physical and political maps. It also includes an introductory section suitable for school project work with maps, graphs and diagrams on the environment, climate and weather, population, resources, economics and energy. Forty-eight pages of city maps and satellite imagery for some of the world"s largest and most economically important cities are provided along with national parks, game reseves and wildlife reserves and UNESCO Heritage sites in Africa, Oceania and Australasia. The ninth edition alos covers new Indian states and the ratified Saudi Arabia/Yemen border along with island maps.
