French Comedy (in French Language Only !). Bernand Fréderic (Benoît Poelvoorde - Man Bites Dog; Coco Before Chanel) is a mediocre bank executive, married with a son. However before he gave showbiz up for his wife; he was a "double" for the great French star Claude Francois. Now, with the Imitators Gala Night coming up, he must choose between his wife or the only thing that makes him fully happy: the applause. Poelvoorde is very funny, and the film itself is so good-natured, it"s a real feel-good movie, with great music and excellent support too from co-stars Julie Depardieu (Female Agents) & Jean-Paul Rouve.
