First presented at the Florida Conference on child health psychology in April 1988, papers by leaders in the field address stress and coping; prevention; family, sibling, and peer issues; compliance; and frontiers, as each area relates to pediatric psychology. The section on frontiers of pediatric psychology, for instance, includes papers on assessing the quality of life in chronically ill children and on pediatric AIDS.
