This band performs from their first albums onwards, a really structured music which includes many themes, breaks and changes of rhythms and climates. It is elegant and ardent at the same time, due to the complex melodies and subtle and sometimes angry combinations, which developpe in furious crescendos between guitar and keyboards.In "Trece Anos", the style remains lyrical Progressive rock and evokes Italian bands like PREMIATA FORNERIA MARCONI, BANCO DEL MUTUO SOCCORSO or GARYBALDI because of its blend of refined romanticism, enthousiasm and energy. "En Concierto" follows the same path as MINIMUM VITAL, and has the same blend of virtuosity, complex composition taken from jazz-rock (BRAND X school), sophistication and melodical impact inherited of Progressive as well as energy, one of the essential components of rock. All this makes a subtle cocktail full of flavours like breaks, changes, dialogues between keyboards (With MINIMUM VITAL-like sounds) and an energetic guitar. The band survived the passage to the Third Millenium, but had to wait nine years to issue its next opus after "La Granja Humana" in the year 2000. The title of this opus, "Resurreccion" (2009), clearly shows the new stages encountered by the band, still centered around guitarists Roberto MORENO and Ricardo ORTEGON, as well as drummer Victor BALDOVINOS. The two new members add a female touch to the team: they are bassist-singer Greta SILVA and singer Alma CASTILLO. Jointly published by the Musea and Luna Negra labels, "Resurreccion" will surely please the aficionados of the South-American School"s precious symphonism. Not to be missed !
