Mediating Canadian Politics, First Edition
Mediating Canadian Politics pairs the perspectives of both academics and practitioners to discuss the role of media in Canadian Politics. Fundamentally, it is about the styling of politics through and by the media. It asks two main questions: how does a modern politician spin and how is she/he spun by the media, and most importantly, how does this relationship impact the health of democracy in Canada. Mediating Canadian Politics strives to provide students with some tools to understand the complex ways in which news mediations of Canadian politics shape understandings of our political environment.
