Unlike many companies that sell base bar and extensions as a one-piece deal, Profile Design has an option for those looking to customize their time-trial position. If you use a Profile base bar for a complete setup, or you just want to use your drop road bars as a base, the T3 Plus Carbon Clip-On TT Bars give you a balance of comfort, control, and aerodynamics. Profile Design"s T3 Carbon clip-n TT bars feature a drop-bend shape. This shape is similar to the traditional ski-bend extension, only with a deeper downward angle along the extension. This allows for more hand and wrist positions, which in turn, creates a more individualized comfort. The extensions are constructed out of multi-layered, multi-directional carbon fiber which emphasizes strength and durability rather than stiffness and low weight. To customize the fit, the T3 Plus includes Profile"s J4 brackets. With these brackets, the armrests are set back 20mm from the center of the base bar, and they"re reversible for a more forward armrest position. The bracket is compatible with aftermarket risers in order to elevate the armrest, while concurrently maintaining your desired wrist angle. Even better, it"s not difficult to adjust. In fact, it"s all done with a single bolt. These bars are finished with Profile"s F-35 armrests and EVA-molded pads. These are adjustable in width and reach in order to properly support your forearms. The Profile Design T3 Plus Carbon Clip-On TT Bars fit both 31. 8mm and 26. 0mm base bars (with the included shim). They tip the scales around 620g and are available with a drop-bend and in the color Black.
