One of the best parts about working at Blue Mountain School is witnessing the creative learning that takes place when we make room for students to participate fully in the process. Colored Pencils is an example of the kind of project that promotes creativity, enhances group work skills, and encourages student responsibility and empowerment in the learning process. Thank you to Jonathan for providing The Unknowns with this opportunity to create something so unique, with space for all of our students’ voices, stories, and drawings from age 3 to 12! It takes skill and patience to keep students focused and learning through the lens of this kind of unpredictable project, but that is what Blue Mountain School’s educational model is all about.
