Language English &Chinese ， Traditional Chinese Internal Medicine is a clinical discipline on elaborating etiology and pathogenesis as well as diagnostic and therapeutic rules of internal diseases with the theory of traditional Chinese medicine. It is also the foundation of learning other clinical disciplines. Based on the guidelines of the National Planned Bilingual Textbooks of the 11th Five-year Plan for All-China TCM Universities or Colleges, this book is primary intended for international students to learn traditional Chinese medicine. The book consists of two parts: general introduction and individual exposition. Focused on syndrome differentiation and treatment, the general introduction mainly contains the definition and scope of traditional Chinese internal medicine, the characteristics of traditional Chinese internal diseases, and the principles and common methods of syndrome differentiation and treatment on traditional Chinese internal diseases. The individual exposition introduces 42 diseases in terms of their general knowledge, etiology and pathogenesis, diagnosis and differential diagnosis, treatment based on syndrome differentiation, commonly used patent Chinese herbal products, lifestyle recommendations, summary; and after-class questions. The general knowledge is clear and accurate. The etiology and pathogenesis is simple and concise. The diagnosis and differential diagnosis is brief and practical. The treatment based on syndrome differentiation includes keys in differentiation and general pathogenesis. The lifestyle recommendations embody the characteristics of traditional Chinese medicine. By listing the key or difficult knowledge points, the after-class questions can help the students with a better understanding.
