Despite the widespread and growing interest in health-related cookbooks and a burgeoning number of cookbooks published, to date there have been no book-length bibliographies covering health-related cookbooks. This bibliography will make it easier for general readers and specialists to locate cookbooks on a specific health-related subject. Section I includes diets for specific diseases or disorders. Section II features diets for general health: life stages; macrobiotic; natural foods; and vegetarian. At the end of each chapter, a selected list of associations and foundations is given, with addresses and telephone numbers where available. Within each chapter, cookbooks are further subdivided according to individual diet plans. Whenever possible, an annotation is provided.
