Playing an eight-string guitar, Andrew Schulman offers a lovely collection of varied guitar music and transcriptions ranging from Vivaldi to George Harrison (and even Schulman"s own Molly"s Dance, a delightful tidbit). The pieces are grouped by mood, which works very well as a listening program. Schulman"s mellow, unforced playing, combined with the deep, resonant sound of his guitar (the extra strings are in the bass) and the interesting program, results in a lovely collection. --Leslie Gerber
