Sometimes you hear of "integrity hardcore." In the case of Mellowtoy one might call it "rapcore consistency": the new, second CD of the Milanese approaches us in a highly intimidating, "Nobody gets out alive" attitude. Indeed, no one will come out of here alive! Why this title? Excluding that this is a reference to the biography of Jim Morrison - "No one here gets out alive" - it could be interpreted almost as a challenge: Is it really so hard in 2006 to survive a rapcore album? It"s useless to try to hide the obvious decline of the sub-genre of nu-metal that was as prominent members of bands like Limp Bizkit, Crazy Town and primer 55 ... there is nothing left to do but willingly accept the challenge of Mellowtoy.
