This project showcases the range of mariachi styles with a sampling from that lively festive romantic genre. Examples range from the jarocha danced by the dock workers of Veracruz to the "farmer"s music" of the guerrero favored by farmers ganderos and rancheros alike. Mariachi Sol give a taste of mariachi at its best on this effervescent effort.
