Girlschool were formed in 1978 and quickly became established as Britain s premier all-girl rock group, a position for which they have been largely unchallenged ever since. An early champion of theirs was Lemmy from Motörhead, and it was with Motörhead that the girls enjoyed their biggest ever hit, the St Valentine s Day Massacre EP which hit the top ten in 1981. Whilst single success has been somewhat elusive since then they have remained a huge success on tour. This album contains a mixture of live and studio recordings from the best female rock group this country has ever produced.
