Heartwood is an examination of the places the heart inhabits. The music moves from lightness of thought and sound to richly dense soundscapes. At times, sparse and at others flushed out within strings, harp, guitar within synth pads and layers. The music is not easy to categorize, but ulitmately it is about the journeys we make within ourselves. Organic, soulful Celtic vocalist with a touch of whimsy, Sora combines stylized melody lines and narrative lyrics.
