Expanding his musical interests, Israeli guitarist Gadi CAPLAN explores rock, jazz, funk and world-music on his second album "Look Back Step Forward", published on the Musea Parallèle in the year 2013. This piece of work features a remarkable cast of musicians that make up two different bands. the first one includes pianist Michael HURWITZ, bassist Noga SHEFI and drummer Moses EDER. Other tracks feature drummer Alex SANTIAGO, bassist Maciej LEWANDOWSKY and keyboardist Gonzalo ALLENDES. Adding color and texture are violinist Duncan WOCKEL, oud player Jussi REIJONE, and flutist Tucker ANTELL. Bringing the funk are saxophonists Lihi HARUVI and Michael SUMMER, joined by keyboardist Christian LI, and rocking out is singer Oded WEINSTOCK. To be discovered !
