Peace-keeping half-elf Canan finds himself in an uneasy alliance with Valim, the warrior knight and Zitban, the wily and self-protective wizard, as they seek out the wicked wizard, Sincommon; the dark lord and slavery master, Kal"il; the henchman and general, Logan; and the bloodthirsty amazon, Kalla, the evil beings who wish to overrun Tarn and bend the inhabitants fo their nefarious purposes.
