According to His Purpose is an autobiography. The story begins with my conversion experience and my experiences with God as a young, zealous Christian. It describes my struggles as a Christian man in the military stationed in the Republic of Turkey. Since Christianity was illegal in Turkey, it was there I learned the pain of physical persecution for the sake of my faith in Christ. After being struck down with an incurable disease early in life, and forced to accept a medical retirement from the Air Force, I took the pastorate of a small, inner-city church in Syracuse, NY.
