Fergus hides behind a facade of self-important bluster and pretension, filling his life with golf and his aquarium. His suggestion of a break in Tangie Bay makes his wife uneasy - as a child he saved his sister"s life there and now he"s in danger of fulfillng a superstition held by the fisherfolk.
