Images of Bermuda
Images of Bermuda is a full-color "coffee-table" or pictorial-documentary, book describing the history, scenery, people, and culture of Bermuda. The book is photographed and written by the renowned international photojournalist Roger LaBrucherie, who has specialized in island "portraits" for some twenty years. With a resume that includes service with the Peace Corps in Latin America, as well as a collegiate education (in economics and law) from both Harvard and Stanford, the author-photographer brings an unusual blend of artistry, cultural sensitivity, and penetrating analysis to his subject matter. In addition to Images of Bermuda, Mr. LaBrucherie has published a second volume on this storied island: Bermuda, A World Apart, as well as books on Hawaii, Barbados, Dominican Republic, and Puerto Rico.
