Moving at the Speed of Light: Second Lesson Sermons for Advent, Christmas, Epiphany

EAN/UPC/ISBN Code 9780788012686

Moving At The Speed Of Light is a book in two parts. The author gently leads us through Advent to the embrace of Christ as we embrace the Light of his Love. The texts lead us to topics of "Welcoming Christ," "Patience," "The Naming Of The Son And Our Being Named By Him." In Part II we consider "How Does The Light Move?" and where it is seen: in marriage, in the family, in the marketplace, in service, in sacred places, on the mountain, and on the plain. How does the Light move? Differently, depending on its courier. The Light is on the move as it has always been since Jesus walked the paths of Galilee. And as we limp through our lives, God knows who is coming because God knows how we each uniquely carry the Light. The grandson of a Great Plains circuit pastor, Frank Luchsinger, M.Div., Ph.D., is senior pastor of Church of the Master at Otterbein College in Westerville, Ohio. While serving as preaching minister of a dynamic campus church, Dr. Luchsinger also finds time for seminary teaching, guest preaching, and writing in the field of Homiletics. He has lectured at Duke, The Schooler Institute, and the national Proclamation academy for preachers.
