Some time around their second album in 1988, this Fingerprintz offshoot was tipped as a contender in the U2-Waterboys-Simple Minds vein. Those hopes never materialized, but their anthemic reach and questing, intelligent songs have only improved. Fashionable they"re not, but you could do worse than try "Killing for God," "27" or "Henry"s Black Shadow." --Jeff Bateman
