As the threat of redundancy looms Sarah Coopr discovers "Spindrift", a beautiful Cornish cottage which has been left to her by her great aunt. When she visits the property she meets, and is immediately attracted to, the handsome solicitor, Daniel, who is dealing with her aunt"s affairs. He too is attracted to her but he fails to inform her of his ex-girlfriend, Christina, who is reluctant to let him go. Smuggler"s caves, blackmail and attempted murder all play their part as Christina is determined not to lose Daniel. The lengths she is prepared to go to are played out against he backdrop of Cornwall"s rugged coastline.
