Wedding Flowers
Every wedding needs flowers and most flower arrangers will at some time be called upon to decorate a church, hall or marquee for a marriage ceremony or wedding reception. Pauline Mann has put together a whole range of decorative designs for weddings throughout the year. She covers all types of arrangements for the church - traditional and modern altar arrangements, pedestals, window ledge arrangements, pew-ends, topiary trees, hanging baskets and porch decorations. A chapter on reception flowers looks at designing arrangements for hotels, halls, marquees and private homes, including table and cake decorations. There are also suggestions for bridal bouquets, bridesmaids" posies and headdresses. There are tables giving descriptions of some of the most popular flowers and explaining when they are available. Pauline Mann teaches the City and Guilds course in flower arranging and is on the editorial board of "The Flower Arranger" magazine. She is also the author of "Flowers That Last".
